NOW 1: A New Era Begins
New Ohio Wrestling (NOW) was proud to announce its debut show on Saturday August 1st, 2015 at the Resolute Athletic Complex, just minutes from the Easton Town Center.

What an action packed night it was and New Ohio Wrestling has put everyone on notice! The future of professional wrestling in Columbus is NOW!

Here was the results for NOW 1: A New Era Begins
-
“The Handlebar Haberdasher” Marion Fontaine vs. ("No Shame") Jimmy Shane (Robby “Super” Starr)
Robby "Super" Starr did not make his debut at New Ohio Wrestling this past Saturday night. He claimed that he was simply just too good for the likes of Columbus, OH and refuses to come to New Ohio Wrestling until NOW management signed him to a match with an opponent he feels is worthy. He didn't feel as though Fontaine was in his league so he sent his main man, "No Shame" Jimmy Shane, in to take care of his lite work.

Unfortunately for Shane and Starr, Marion Fontaine was more than they bargained for as Fontaine picks up the very first win ib New Ohio Wrestling history with a modified roll up.

-
“The Mane Event” Justin Mane vs. "The Professional" Brandon Fields

"The Professional" Brandon Fields gets the pin with a devastating lariat that turns Justin Mane inside out

-
Levi Connors + "Elite Athlete" Flex Jordan vs. Midwest Models Inc.

Levi Connors and Flex Jordan chalks up a pinfall victory via a flap jack type double team maneuver

-
Jake Something vs “The Stretcher” James Avery
Jake Something impresses in his New Ohio Wrestling debut with a huge clothesline to the back of the head that gets him the victory over ring veteran James Avery

-
"Big Guns" Jeff Cannon vs. Alex Matthews
Alex Matthews picks up the dirty victory over "Big Guns" when he distracts the ref while he reverse mule kicks Cannon in the nether regions.

The big story of this match happens AFTER Matthews blatant low blow. Joshua Singh comes out and attacks Jeff Cannon for no reason at all. He then gets on the mic and makes a statement that he is offended that NOW management has been boasting about bringing in the best young talent in Ohio and doesn't like the fact that HE was signed to a match. He makes the claim the HE is the best young professional wrestler in Ohio and he's here, in New Ohio Wrestling, to prove it.
-
"Darkstar" Matt Taylor vs. "True Grit" Bruce Grey
In a very exciting back and forth match that had the crowd on the edge of their seats, Matt Taylor gets the tap out win after catching Bruce Grey in the Koji Clutch submission

-
“Agent Orange” Juice Jennings vs. "Sweet Dream" Sless Taylor
In the main event of the evening, Juice Jennings and Sless Taylor delivered in a HUGE way as Juice gets the win with a Fisherman's Buster suplex.
After the match, Sless reached out his hand to congratulate Juice on a hard fought victory, and in classic Juice Jennings style, Jennings shakes Sless's hand and then boots him in the gut. Juice then proceeds to attack Sless until Matt Taylor comes out to help Sless.

There seems to be some bad blood building between Juice Jennings and Matt Taylor so we will have to keep an eye out on these two.
